Oswald oversees the asset marketing and leasing responsibilities for Transwestern’s South
Florida portfolio of properties. Her current cli-
ents include TA Associates Realty, the Congress Group and
Genesis Capital Partners. She is the exclusive leasing agent for
110 Tower, a 396,428-sf class A office tower in Downtown Fort
Lauderdale, and 999 Brickell, a 100,000-sf office building in
Miami’s CBD.
Oswald serves as a fundraising committee member within
Best Buddies International, a nonprofit organization that provides opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities.
“In the last 10 years I have seen a steady, positive increase of
women in the industry and women in leadership and asset
management roles,” she says. “At the end of the day, it is not as
much about gender as it is about support from your peers,
hard work and the ability to bring expertise and valuable recommendations to the table.”

is the co-founder of CHOICE, a program providing and encouraging financial literacy for minority girls ages 12 to 18 and is
involved with INROADS, a non-profit providing corporate internships for minority college students.
“We’re seeing more women in leadership roles in commercial
real estate,” she says. “We’re also making an effort to increase
minority involvement. It’s key from a marketing perspective, because you get a different point of view from an under-served
market segment.”
