and The Equity One Georgia Portfolio,
adding up to 850,000 sf. Additionally, he
was involved in the closing of 719,000 sf of
retail space in 2007. He is on the planning
committees for ICSC conferences and a

Gutierrez, 26, became chief technology officer of a chain
of online grocery
stores when he was just 17. He then partnered to launch an Internet media company. After he completed his
undergraduate education, he launched
Gutierrez Group, a diversified investment
firm where he serves as president. Projects
to date include Highland Park Lofts, Civic
Park Plaza and Highland Park Center.
Gutierrez is vice chairman of Miami-Dade
County Historic Preservation. He is also a
trustee of the Jackson Memorial Hospital
Public Health Trust and part of the Community Partnership for the Homeless.
